Qualification, sample and approval
- Define the reference: fruit, target weight, dimensions, master carton, channel and destination market.
- Review format and sample: confirm whether an existing format works or the project requires an adjustment, sample or mould.
- Approve the specification: material, thickness, ventilation, closure, label, stacking and units per carton.
- Agree the control plan: set inspection, packing and approval-evidence criteria before production.
For the commercial proposal: provide volume per order or season, destination, required date, carton and pallet configuration and requested Incoterm. Qualification should finish with an approved specification on record.
